Test Batch 1 (Deep Breath)

Thank you for being one of the first to test out DEEP BREATH. In an effort to remain transparent, ethical, and "lights on, windows open", please see the ingredients and their doses below for test batch 1.

Also please note, like all supplements, DEEP BREATH is not regulated by the FDA, but you'll find source links to clinical studies backing up any claims made about the product. Integrity is of the utmost importance, especially when dealing with ingestible products.

Please also note, that we are currently in the production process for the final product, which has an altered formula, though two of the main ingredients (L-Theanine and Citicoline) remain unchanged. Upon further research and scientific study discoveries, the formula has been modified to improve the effectiveness even further than experienced in Test Batch 1, which is already effective.

The final formula's ingredients can be found here.

Test Batch 1 Ingredients and Research

L-Theanine - 200mg

An amino acid most commonly found in tea leaves. Promotes an increased relaxed, but alert mental state, particularly during times of high anxiety.

It has been shown that shown that l-THE intake (50–200 mg) significantly increases the pattern intensity of α-wave production in the different areas of the cerebral cortex without causing drowsiness due to unchanged θ-waves [5,8,52]. An increase in α-waves in the cerebral cortex has been proposed as an index of an increased relaxed but alert mental state [8,53]. - https://www.mdpi.com/2306-5710/2/2/13/htm

One specific study, involving administration of l-THE (200 mg/100 mL water), reported profound effects on attention performance as well as on reaction time responses in normal healthy subjects prone to high anxiety.

Findings suggest that l-THE elicits a relaxing effect on the brain, provides many neuroprotective roles, and also has a profound impact on learning ability and cognition.

Citicoline - 250mg

Citicoline is a brain nutrient that supports mental energy, focus, attention, and overall cognitive health. Experimental studies have revealed several mechanisms by which citicoline works. It acts by supporting phospholipid metabolism, neurotransmitter synthesis, mitochondrial function, and neuroplasticity.

It may help with focusing the brain on the task at hand during times of racing thoughts.

Passion Flower - 400mg

P. incarnata has many common names, including purple passionflower and maypop. Early studies suggest it might help relieve insomnia and anxiety. It appears to boost the level of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in your brain.

Some trials suggest that purple passionflower may also relieve anxiety. A study reported in the journal Anesthesia and Analgesia examined its effects on patients scheduled for surgery. Patients who consumed it reported less anxiety than those who received a placebo.

Baicalin (Skullcap Extract) - 200mg

Baicalin inhibits the action potential of the neurons that raise anxiety (R).

Baicalin is a flavone glycoside, the glucuronide of baicalein, which is obtained through the binding of glucuronic acid to baicalein. It is primarily used in Asian countries as an herbal supplement.

Baicalin improved cognitive dysfunction via its anti-neuroinflammatory activity, and may also be a potential candidate for the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) (R).

It improved Amyloid beta-induced learning and memory deficit, hippocampus injury and neuron apoptosis (R).

Baicalin improves learning and memory impairment induced by brain injury in mammals (R).
